Charlie's Research Interest

E-mail Print PDF

My research interests are in the areas of financial economics, Market Microstructure and corporate governance, with a primary focus on the banking regulation in emerging financial markets.

I am an active member of the university funded doctoral school, Centre for Advanced Studies in Financial (CASIF), within which I currently supervise three PhD students in the areas of behavioural finance, corporate governance in emerging market and applied financial econometrics.

Being the deputy director of the International Institute of Banking and Financial Services (IIBFS), a research institution within LUBS, I have also had the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues on industrial consultancy projects and source corporate sponsorship outside the university. The main research focus of IIBFS will be in the area of banking regulation and innovation.

Agriculture and Rural Banking Research
